Adept not showing available packages 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0  
If by chance u have tried installing applications using adept but available packages are not being shown enter the following command:

sudo /usr/sbin/update-apt-xapian-index

Enter your password and what for the file to be updated. If u have adept currently open close it and reopen
